I absolutely adore BBC's new Sherlock. I didn't expect to as I have been
reading the books since I was the size of a fire extinguisher and my
love for the
true Sherlock Holmes, Jeremy Brett is equally large.
Never the less, right from the first episode of the new series I was
hooked. Which lead to this painting. This one has nothing to do with
anything other then sheer fangirling. I simply am and will be
SherLocked.
Here are some steps to the finished piece.

Have you read the book "Bending the Willow: Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes" by David Stuart Davies. This book is a must read for fans of the Granada adaptation and/or Jeremy Brett.
